Application: During the inspection process, components are magnetized, and Supramor® 4 Black is applied to the test area, typically by spraying immediately before and during magnetization. Inspection should be conducted in good white light conditions of at least 500 Lux for optimal defect visibility.
Contrast Enhancement: Supramor® 4 Black is highly effective when used on light-colored substrates. However, for darker substrates, it is recommended to use white contrast paint, such as WCP 712 or 722, to provide a contrasting background against the black defect indications.
Effects on Materials: When used as prescribed, Supramor® 4 Black does not cause significant corrosion on ferrous materials. It is important to ensure that equipment and tanks are constructed of stainless steel for long-term durability.
Storage: Store Supramor® 4 Black in a cool place, protecting it from freezing conditions. The shelf life for aerosol cans is 36 months, while bulk material has a shelf life of 60 months.
