To become an NDT tester, you must complete the appropriate level 1 and level 2 NDT courses and receive certification from a recognised organisation such as ASNT or through your employer under NAS410/EN4179 standards (Aerospace). You can also gain experience by working in the NDT industry and continuing your education through professional development courses.
At NDT Consultants, we provide level 1 courses that range from 2-5 days and level 2 courses that may take up to 10 days. Once you complete your certification exams, your certification will remain valid for 5 years. Following this timeframe, recertification will be necessary.
