Checkmor 240 is a water washable (Method A) and solvent removable (Method C) colour contrast penetrant, which is widely used in many industries for the detection of defects, which are open to the surface of solid workpieces. Checkmor 240 is a dark red mobile liquid to be used in conjunction with the non-acqueous developer LD7 and solvent cleaner / remover S76 as part of the dye penetrant inspection technique. Checkmor 240 is QPL AMS 2644 listed and does also meet the requirements of EN ISO 3452-2 and ASME Code V Article 6.
